This policy explains what information the Dental Designs Punta Cana website collects, why, and what you can do about it. We’ve kept it short and specific to this site.

Dental Designs Punta Cana is a dental clinic opening in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, operating under the trade name “Dental Designs Punta Cana By Dr. Cabrera” (“we”, “us”). You can reach us about anything in this policy at [contact email].

What we collect

When you join our waitlist: your first name, email address, country and, if you choose to tell us, the treatment you’re interested in.

When you write to us by email or WhatsApp: whatever you decide to include in your message.

Automatically, when you visit: our hosting provider records technical information such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you request, in order to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. If you accept analytics, it also gives us aggregate statistics, such as how many visits each page gets and how fast it loads, without cookies or anything stored on your device: to avoid counting the same visit twice, it uses a digest of the request that is discarded after 24 hours. We only see totals, never an individual visitor.

Only if you accept analytics cookies: information about how you use the site, such as pages visited and time spent, collected by Google Analytics.

Please don’t send us medical information

This website isn’t designed to receive health information. Please don’t send medical records, X-rays, photos of your mouth or details about your health through the site or by email before you’ve spoken with one of our doctors. We’ll let you know the appropriate way to share them when the time comes.

How we use it

• To let you know when appointments open and to answer your questions.
• To understand, in aggregate, how people use the site, only if you’ve accepted analytics cookies.
• To keep the website secure and working.

We don’t sell or rent your information, and we don’t use it to make automated decisions about you.

Cookies

We use one essential cookie to remember whether you accepted or declined analytics. Analytics cookies are only set if you click “Accept”. If you click “Decline”, no analytics tool is loaded: neither Google Analytics nor the cookie-free statistics described above. You can change your choice at any time through the “Cookie settings” link at the bottom of every page.

Who we share it with

Only with service providers that help us run the site, and only as needed for that purpose:

• Vercel Inc. (United States), which hosts the website and, if you accept analytics, provides the cookie-free statistics described above.
• Upstash (United States), which keeps short-lived counters to stop abuse of the sign-up form. They hold a scrambled digest of your IP address and email, never the address itself, and expire within 24 hours.
• Resend (United States), which delivers our confirmation emails.
• Google (United States), for analytics, only if you accept analytics cookies.

We may also disclose information if the law requires it. Because these providers are based in the United States, your information may be stored and processed outside the Dominican Republic.

How long we keep it

We keep your waitlist details until you unsubscribe or [12 months after the clinic opens], whichever comes first. Server logs are kept by our hosting provider for a limited period for security purposes. Analytics data is kept for [14 months].

Your choices

• Every email we send includes a way to unsubscribe.
• You can ask us for a copy of your information, to correct it, or to delete it by writing to [contact email]. We’ll reply within [30] days.
• You can withdraw your consent to analytics at any time through “Cookie settings”.

How we protect it

The site is served only over encrypted connections (HTTPS). Access to the accounts where your information is stored is limited to the people who need it and protected with two-step verification.

Children

This website is intended for adults. We don’t knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has sent us their details, contact us and we’ll delete them.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we’ll update the date at the top of this page. If the change is significant, we’ll also point it out on the site.
